Bacon wrapped dates

It's a medjool date and some smoked gouda cheese wrapped in bacon with some balsamic reduction. They can be prepared the night before, put in the fridge and put in the oven a few minutes before company arrives. The bacon only takes a few minutes to brown once it's in the oven. 
  • dried medjool dates
  •  smoked gouda cheese (small slices) 
  • bacon

 Wrap dates and small slices of cheese in one piece of bacon and leave them in the fridge until ready to cook. Leave it until the bacon becomes brown. The trick is to let it stand a few minutes once it's out of the oven so the bacon hardens a little. The sweet date and smokey bacon will melt together and hold the bacon wrapped around it.
